Shaving my butt cheeks (man)?

I am a man and i kind of have a very hairy ***. I usually shave the genitals area and around my butt hole because it both feels better when its smooth. But the entire but cheeks spot and a little above it aswell is pretty big so i dont know if its a good idea to shave it or not :S i want the hair to be gone, but its also gonna be alot of work. Any advices?
